Emily Rimland is the Information Literacy Librarian and Learning Technologies Coordinator at Penn State, University Park campus, and holds an MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh. Her research interests include: the application of emerging technologies to library services, information literacy, and instructional technologies and her current research involves using micro-credentials for information literacy skills. She is also the founder the Association of College and Research Libraries’ Digital Badges Interest Group.
