Wasana Karunarathne is a teaching specialist in the Department of Economics at the University of Melbourne. She holds a PhD in Economics from the National University of Singapore (2005) and a Graduate Certificate in University Teaching from the University of Melbourne (2016). Her research interests lie broadly on applied microeconomics with a focus on education, labour and development economics. She primarily teaches quantitative methods for undergraduate students. Wasana has been a Learning Associate for the Williams Centre for Learning Advancement at the University of Melbourne since 2017.
