Taylar Wenzel is an Associate Lecturer in the School of Teacher Education at the University of Central Florida, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in teacher education. Taylar has taught and developed courses in face-to-face, mixed (synchronous and asynchronous), and online teaching modes. During the transition to V1, she led faculty development efforts in her department to support faculty and enhance online instruction. She also converted several clinical experiences with elementary children to virtual formats. These efforts have been shared through recent presentations and publications by the Society for Informational Technology and Teacher Education. Her current research interests related to online instruction are based on developing teacher candidates’ technological pedagogical content knowledge and relationship-building in virtual environments.
