Dr. Adam Wells is a tenure earning Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida in the College of Education and Human Performance’s Institute of Exercise Physiology and Wellness. He earned both his Masters and Doctoral Degrees in Exercise Physiology from UCF. Dr. Wells’ primary research interests include exercise immunology, nutrition, and sports performance. Dr. Wells also engages in research collaborations centered around the monitoring of sports performance in soccer athletes. Dr. Wells has over 40 scholarly works in peer-reviewed journals. As a member of the faculty at UCF, Dr. Wells plans to continue his research examining inflammatory and immune responses to exercise, as well as interventions that modulate these responses.
