Rachid Ait Maalem Lahcen is a Mathematics instructor at University of Central Florida (UCF) and coordinator of college algebra and intermediate algebra courses. He leads the personalized adaptive learning redesign of these courses. He received Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (2002), Graduate Certificate in Mathematics (2013), Graduate Certificate in Modeling and Simulation of Behavioral Cybersecurity (2017), and Master of Science in Modeling and Simulation (2018), all from UCF. He earned a PhD in Modeling and Simulation at UCF. His research interests are learning strategies, cybersecurity and computational methods.
